TV presenter Ben Fogle is to launch I Love Amazon Week (October 21), a joint Sky Rainforest Rescue and WWF project that celebrates and draws attention to the Amazon rainforest.

Sky has already inspired more than 5000 people in the Brazilian district Acre to save over one billion trees, and the week is intended to inspire the same amount of UK residents to be more forest friendly. Fogle says 'Considering how valuable the Amazon rainforest is, it's devastating to think that we're losing an area the size of three football pitches of it every minute'.
